IPU New Zealand Postgraduate Programmes

Unique interdisciplinary approach

The unique interdisciplinary approach to contemporary international studies develops individuals with a wide range of transferable skills and specialist knowledge. Students may choose to study for one year to receive a Postgraduate Diploma of Contemporary International Studies, or two years and graduate with a Master of Contemporary International Studies.

Developing individuals who can adapt to any international setting

Students from various parts of the world study together in a small class setting, developing knowledge and soft skills that enable them to work effectively in any international setting. Lecturers hold doctoral degrees, sharing their wide range of expertise with the students. Graduates’ pathways include continued study toward PhDs, as well as joining the workforce at embassies in New Zealand, for example.
